Posts: 131 (04/18/08 03:23:21) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None I've ridden others around on the back of a motorcycle. but not on a scooter. i know the weight it entirely different as more weight would be above the seat than below. seems the looking over the shoulder through turns would kind of go right out the window. i'm going to scoot my wife around later so i was wondering if there was anything i should keep in mind.

My wife rode w me for the first long ride on the WKRP run and we did better than the scoot. You shouldn't really need to look over your shoulder as much as turn your head to see what is beside you. It is certainly different than riding a cycle because the rider is up close and personal, unless you have a back rest for them (like I had on my cycle). Practice, practice, practice. Be carefull and enjoy the ride vs rushing to your destination.

If I (115 lbs and a weakling) can ride a 180lb guy cupcake on my small frame, I imagine anything can be done.

Posts: 132 (04/18/08 15:04:59) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	yeah, it was fine. it's been like 6 years... so i was a little nervous. didn't want to kill the mother of my child. or myself. being an orphan may make for a good story on a college app but I am sure it sucks. that and the old spring p seat with 2 people who aren't 120 soaking wet... not so comfy. but i guess that's what happens when you eat a shit load of french fries. i do have to say that those beer helmets are a god send for long rides.
